I am a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with dual majors in African American Studies and Biology. I also have an advanced degree from Lindenwood University. My teaching certificate was obtained at Harris Stowe State University, and I have several additional credit hours toward a degree in Education Administration from the University of Missouri St. Louis.
It is a personal requirement that I give back to the community that has given so much to me. Therefore, EVERY student in my classroom will learn, EVERY student in my classroom will perform at mastery, and EVERY student in my classroom will be college or career ready. My students have no other choice.
I am committed to providing exceptional teaching, varied instructional strategies, rigorous learning experiences, and a culturally responsive curriculum. At the same time, my students and I enjoy learning; we enjoy learning together.
The door to our classroom is always open, and we invite you to visit.
